Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the team responsible for maintaining and developing an information storage and management system for an insurance company.

Your team: You, 7 Java developers, 2 QA engineers, Product Owner, Team Lead.

Your key responsibilities

• Communicating with business users, gathering and analyzing business requirements, coordinating requirements
• System analysis, creating technical specifications based on system analysis results and required improvements
• Writing technical specifications and creating diagrams, documentation
• Setting task priorities for developers
• Presenting requirements to the development team
• Monitoring development results against requirements and tracking release timelines
• Refining feature requirements, making proposals, manual testing
• Managing conflicts related to requirements and solution decisions

What we expect from you

• 1+ year of commercial experience as a Business Analyst
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Notion, Miro (or equivalents)
• Experience writing technical specifications
• Ability to model business processes using BPMN or other notations, creating UML diagrams
• Basic knowledge of databases, understanding of SQL queries
• Knowledge of data exchange formats JSON and XML
• Experience with manual testing, participating in validation of implemented solutions
• Experience supporting a live system: processing and classifying customer requests, coordinating with the team, creating improvement tasks

Nice to have

• Understanding of API principles, practical experience with Postman
• Experience with Kibana, Grafana
