IT Manager (DevOps Team)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT Manager (DevOps Team) who will be responsible for the strategy, stability and development of the company's IT infrastructure, managing a team and ensuring effective interaction between business, clients and technical specialists.

Team objectives

• Ensuring stable, secure and uninterrupted operation of the entire company's IT infrastructure and client environments
• Supporting and developing infrastructure for development teams: CI/CD, servers, databases, networks, cloud and on-prem solutions
• Participating in the implementation and support of infrastructure and technical projects for internal teams and clients

Your key responsibilities

• Managing, developing, motivating and overseeing the IT team
• Developing, implementing and monitoring SLA compliance; reporting to business stakeholders
• Incident management: coordinating escalations, prioritization, stakeholder communication
• Building IT processes from scratch or significantly improving them: ticketing system, reporting, policies
• IT operations and project budgeting
• Managing IT projects from initiation to closure
• Communicating with top management and corporate clients regarding infrastructure status and key incidents
• Coordinating work between DevOps engineers and support divisions
• Independently identifying operational problems and initiating their resolution

What we expect from you

• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2-3 years in a similar management position or as a lead/coordinator of a technical or IT team
• Experience managing a team of 5+ people
• Experience developing or signing SLAs, building reporting processes
• Experience in incident management and escalations
• IT budgeting experience
• Experience communicating with business or corporate clients

Technical awareness:

• DevOps processes: CI/CD, deployment, releases — ability to correctly formulate tasks for engineers
• Linux fundamentals and server-network infrastructure
• Docker, GitLab CI — sufficient level for setting technical tasks
• Monitoring, alerting, SLA — process understanding
• ITIL / ITSM practices
• Cloud or on-prem infrastructures
