Technical Project Manager

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the team responsible for maintaining and developing one of our key tools for insurance contract processing and client management.

Your key responsibilities

• Planning, controlling and reporting on delivery; managing sprints, releases and risks
• Backlog prioritization, writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Client communication: gathering requirements, managing expectations, presenting results
• Close collaboration with architects and tech leads to refine technical decisions
• Participation in performance reviews and team member development recommendations
• Coordination between the engineering team, QA, analysts and DevOps
• Understanding business goals and translating them into technical plans

What we expect from you

Experience and background:

• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2-3 years as a Delivery Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager or Business / System Analyst in a product or service company
• Prior technical experience in development or system analysis (preferably within the Java ecosystem)
• Experience managing teams (min. 5 people)
• Successful end-to-end delivery management of medium and large enterprise projects (from discovery to releases)

Technical awareness (understanding level, not hands-on):

• Java 11-21, Spring Framework (Boot, Data, Security, Cloud) — understanding of architecture, modularity, services
• SQL (PostgreSQL, MS SQL) — basic understanding of data models, indexes, transactions
• Redis, Elasticsearch — knowledge of use cases (caching, search, performance)
• CI/CD (GitLab pipelines) — basic understanding of deployment, versioning, code review flow
• Understanding of REST API principles, microservice architecture, message brokers (Kafka / RabbitMQ is a plus)

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as PSPO / PSM / PMP / ITIL / SAFe PO-PM
• Experience in the insurance, financial or B2B sector
